Kuma, a beast hunter/warrior, once encountered a legendary beast said to be capable of controlling heroes' minds. After an aggressive fight, Kuma managed to kill the creature that was simply trying to protect its pup. Struck by a sudden sense of guilt, Kuma decided to adopt the beast cub, without knowing that the pup was able to control his very thoughts and decisions. Kuma never hurt another beast again and for some reason, felt the need to protect them, never understanding why.
