A military prodigy, Stefan was to lead an escort for a caravan carrying a legendary weapon called “Devil’s-bane”. The elders of Arathos deemed a weapon of such power as an asset in the approaching war, which also meant it could spell destruction if held by evil hands. Inevitably, a horde of demons ambushed the caravan and began to lay waste to the helpless soldiers when Stefan, consumed by despair and tempted to use the power of the legendary weapon, turned the tide leaving a trail of demon corpses in his wake. Now the wielder of the “Devil’s-bane”, Stefan vowed to protect the helpless by vanquishing all evil.
