Illa was from a family of merchants, after finding a book of spells, she got interested and wanted to venture around Arathos looking for more and trying them to the enemies she encounter. Having come from a merchant family she had a good eye to find rare spell books to expand her spell arsenal, very versatile at using different spells and mostly costly ones which relies on luck on her habit for gambling and sadistic ways to fight her enemies which why she was much known as a witch rather than a mystic or mage.
