Sebastian, a once venerated Knight was tasked by his Queen to fell a Bone Dragon that was sighted near the sacred Tree of Souls. Sebastian set out and eventually met the Bone Dragon, having taken residence on the hilltop where the lone Tree of Souls stood. It was using the Tree as a lure to feast on the souls of the recently deceased, slowly growing in power and size. Sebastian fought a terrible battle, eventually slaying the Dragon. He put his hands upon the Tree to rest, and as he did, the Dragon gave one final deathly roar, releasing all of the souls it had consumed - now twisted and horrific - towards the Tree and Sebastian. They swirled around them, slowly being absorbed by the Tree, while Sebastian watched helpless as the tree started consuming his hands beneath thick, oily black vines. Through sheer willpower alone, Sebastian wrenched his hands from the trunk of the Tree, and collapsed unconscious in the pile of bones that made up the remains of the Dragon. Now he wanders aimlessly, his mind a fog of voices from the souls that are now trapped within his horrific hands - more tree than flesh. He crafted a new set of armor from the bones of his slain foe, and wields a sword made from the spine of the great beast.
